“MTC has changed my life! I’m not only prepared, but thrilled to audition, any time, any day.”
Who attends MTC?
MTC students participate in the program for many reasons. The age range is typically 17 and up, although younger students are sometimes accepted. Working professionals, college students, and teachers join the program to extend, polish and maintain their existing skills. Aspiring performers with strong skills in one area will often participate in MTC to strengthen their experience in other disciplines. Younger students use the MTC experience to prepare for college or graduate school auditions, or to decide if Musical Theater or Opera performance is truly their career choice. MTC accepts students by audition and interview without regard to race, color, sexual orientation, religion or national origin.
